This innovative, triangular shaped Swat Shad displaces large volumes of water due to its large paddle tail action. The Swat Shad was specifically designed to be mounted with a round Texan hook with an articulated Ange Porteux head, which gives it a great wobbling action. The Swat Shad features a belly channel to help rig the hook easily, and dorsal channel to conceal the point of the hook, but does not hinder hook-ups. The Texan rig will allow you to fish this lure in thickly vegetated waters. There are two small holes in the channels for a Texan hook to be easily rigged, or for a smaller stinger hook.
