Thanks to the low elongation power, this monophilament will permit you to reach similar performances to the braids used for shock leaders. The force that we accumulate during the casting moment will not decrease for the elasticity of the nylon, but it will be transmitted to the lead without making the “spring effect” that is the first cause of short casts and loss of power.
