These WMF pots contain enamel, no lead or cadmium
- Cromargan handles look chic and high quality, are indestructible as well as dishwasher and oven safe. They are spot-welded and therefore insoluble connected to the pot. No screws are used to loosen them. Thanks to the high-quality construction, no water can penetrate between the pot and the handle. Stainless steel has the property of conducting heat. Basically, the heat transfer depends on the heat supply, the cooking time and capacity
- The most important quality feature of pots is the floor. You need a material that absorbs the heat well and distributes it evenly. Aluminium has these properties: it absorbs heat very quickly and transfers it evenly to the pot and the food. The TransTherm universal base from WMF consists of a strong aluminium core, which is enclosed all around in a chrome steel capsule. This means that the aluminium cannot be attacked by aggressive detergent
- The pots should be cleaned and dried as soon as possible after each use. Soften stuck food residues and remove them with a sponge or brush. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners containing sand. Limescale water and certain foods can cause lime stains or blue shimmering discolouration inside the pot
