Description

Description

Module with high precision A/C converter in the form of shields for GPIO connectors of Raspberry Pi. It has 8 17-bit channels, analog outputs operating in mode Single Ended with voltage from 0 V to 5 V. It communicates through the I2C interface. It works with the Raspberry, version A+ / B+ / 2B / 3B / 3B+ / Zero / Zero W.

Based on the two MCP3424 systems. The module uses the reference voltage of 2,048 V with pin -V connected to ground. Thanks to this, obtained was the range from 0 to 5.06 V. Each channel has 17-bit resolution.

ADC PI communicates with minicomputer via the I2C bus, giving 8 analog inputs. Built-in converter allows you to connect any I2C module operating with a voltage of 5 V. The board allows to select the I2C address using the soldered jumper. It allows you to connect up to 4 ADC PI boards to one Raspberry and allows you to use up to 32 GPIO inputs. Amplifying circuit allows you to strengthen of 1x, 2x, 4x or 8x before the conversion. Data transfer rate, and the resolution can be changed by I2C. The manufacturer providescomparison of various work parameters.

Unused inputs should be connected to ground.

The subject of the sale is a shield, the Raspberry Pi Zero and spacers can be purchased separately.
