Description

Description

The Arduino Micro is a popularversion of Leonardoin a smaller size: 48 x 18 mm. The board contains a microcontroller ATmega32u4 with 20 digital input/outputs, 7 of which, can be used as PWM outputs (e.g. for motor control) and 12 as analog inputs. The system works with the signal ticking with the frequency of 16 MHz, has 32K Flash and 2.5 KB RAM SRAM.

This version is characterized by small size 48 x 18 mm. Has soldered male connectors on the underside of the tile.

The subject of the sale is the original product for Arduino, Botland isthe official distributor of this company.

Key features

Below are a few features that distinguish modules Arduino compared to other programmable tiles.

Name Description

Installed

bootloader

Thanks to bootloader, the only necessity for unit programming, is the appropriatemicro usb cableandthe software from the manufacturer's website.

Small

size

This version is characterized by small size 48 x 18 mm. Has soldered male connectors on the underside of the tile.

Digital I/O

20 digital inputs/outputs allows, in particular, to control the LEDs, relays and reading the button's states.

Current efficiency

The maximum power load for a single output is 40 mA.

Outputs

PWM

7 PWM outputs, motor control and brightness control of the LEDs.

Analog inputs

12 inputs of built-in analog-digital converter with 10 bits of resolution, support, in particular, sensors with analog output.

Serial communication

The device supports popular communication interfaces, including UART, I2C and SPI, and USB. Special functions Some of the pins have special functions that a brief description is available inour guide.

Built-in memory

The Atmega32u4 chip has the signal clock frequency of 16 MHz and has 32 KB Flash memory 1 KB EEPROM, 2.5 KB of RAM SRAM.

Power

pin VIN To power the Arduino, you can useany power sourcewith a voltage from 7 V to 12 V, which is to be connected to terminals VIN (+) and GND.

Power

USB port

The tile can be powered from a computer via microUSB cable, bearing in mind that the maximum power load for the USB port is 500 mA. Arduino has a system that protects the socket from short-circuit and the flow of too high current.

Connector

ICSP

The module has ICSP I/O for connecting an externalAVR programmer.

Built-in

led

The connected led on pin 13 allows debugging simple programs.

Output

3.3 V

Built-in voltage regulator allows powering external devices with the voltage of 3.3 V with current consumption of 50 mA.

First run

To help you get started with the module, we have prepareda tutorial that will help you with the installation and first run of the Arduino environment.
