ASICS GEL – SONOMA 6 GTX 1011B048-400 DESCRIPTION The GEL-SONOMA™ 6 G-TX running shoes are designed for training in open spaces. Inspired by the ASICS trail running line, these shoes are a versatile option, practical for trips outside the city, for example to low mountains, as well as equipment for other adventures in nature. Additionally, we used fewer resources to dye the insert, following a more sustainable design approach. This updated version of our trail running shoes features a GORE-TEX™ upper to keep your feet dry even in wet conditions. This season we focused on improving the cut of the upper, which is why we equipped the shoes with the latest design ensuring greater stability in the midsole and adjustable heel, while a wider toe allows for comfortable toe spread. Synthetic stitching on the overlays has been designed to improve the durability of the footwear, also helping with a safer footing and reduced slippage. Underfoot comfort is provided by a full-length AMPLIFOAM™ midsole with GEL™ technology cushioning placed exactly where shock absorption helps runners most. To increase the softness of each step, we added the ORTHOLITE™ insole, ensuring the highest comfort of the foot. Additionally, the multi-faceted tread improves grip on various types of surfaces. All these comfort elements are complemented by durability features, such as a solid rubber sole. This makes these shoes a universal proposition for trail running
