Description

Pf30a Is A Cannondale-Specific Standard For Their 73mm Wide Bottom Bracket Shells. This Ceramicspeed Kit Makes It Possible To Install Quarq And Sram Cranks Into Some Cannondale Frames. Ceramicspeed Bearings Come Installed In Two Cups And Are Connected Through The Shell Via A Spacer Tube. There Are Versions With Standard And Coated Bearings. Both Have Super Round Ceramicspeed Balls And Hardened-Steel Races. The Coated Have An Additional Attribute: A 3-Micron Thick Metallic Layer Over The Races. This Addition Makes The Races Harder And Smoother, Lowering Drag And Increasing Life. In The Box: - 2 Cups With Bearings Installed - 2 Dust Covers - 1mm Spacers - 0.5mm Spacer - Gxp Wave Washer - Spacer Tube - Ceramicspeed All Round Grease - Sticker Sheet Technical Data: - The Unique Pf30a Shell Is 73mm Wide, 46mm Diameter And Is Specific To Cannondale. Cups And Bearings Adapt The Shell So It Is Compatible With 24/22mm Diameter Spindle Quarq And Sram Cranks. - 0.3-.04 Watts Of Frictional Drag Is The “Cost” To Using Our Standard Bearings. That’S A Reduction In Drag Of 75% Versus Stock Bb’S. This Is The Result Of Smart Design And Great Execution: Hardened-Steel Races Combined With Ceramic Balls That Are 100% Smoother And 15% Harder Than The Ceramic Competition. They Also Last Longer. - Coated Bearings Last Even Longer And Feature Even Lower Drag. Life Increases By 60% And Drag Drops By 50% Compared To Our Standard. - All Round Grease Comes Pre-Installed In The Bearings. It Can Be Replaced For Lower Drag Race Day Grease, Or Higher Durability Long Life Grease, Which Adds A Bit Of Drag But Stays In When Riding Through Messy Conditions.
