Our new star in this line is the Darwin frog that is originally from streams and forests from Chile and Argentina.
It is possible that this species is now extinct.
It has not been seen since 1981.
This small species of frog (approximately 3.
5 cm long) received its name in honor of the Explorer Charles Darwin.
He discovered the frog during his ´´Beagle Travel´´.
The Darwin frog is capable of camouflaged on the floor of the forest, thanks to its evolutionary appearance as a dry leaf.
The North Darwin frog exhibits a parental care ´mouth disturbing´, through which the young people spend part of their development in the father´s mouth until the metamorphosis process is completed.
