Technology:
BIASL
- This technology layers two fibre sheets in a helicoidal crossed wrap at 45° to each other.
X45:
- This manufacturing process involves layering spiral carbon fibres (90°), unidirectional fibres (0°) over three layers and two layers of carbon as helicoidal opposites (45°). These two crossed layers give the name Bias Cross Wrap.
- The wrapping of X45 guarantees true elasticity: a return to the original shape of the blank irrespective of the angle of load.
- SVF: A reduction in resin and tight packing of the fibres combine to make a lighter, faster, more sensitive blank.
- MAGNUM TAPER: A Magnum Taper blank uses a taper to improve balance and boost the power of the blank.
- Zaion Reel Seat: ZAION carbon technology that was originally designed for reel parts is now harnessed for reel seats.
- FUJI TORZITE Guides: Fuji guides boasting ultra-thin Torzite rings for incredibly low friction. These light guides let the blank of the rod have its say. Ultra-thin Torzite rings are 40% lighter than SiC rings and reduce friction by a factor of 20%.
FUJI KR Guides:
- The FUJI KR grew out of the Fuji K concept (2010 generation), offering a lighter guide that’s closer to the blank. This aids bite detection and gets you as close as possible to the true action of the blank.
- The Fuji K-R concept was first released to the public on the Japanese market – in February 2012 in Osaka – proposing a new generation of smaller guides to reduce even further the risks of tangling on the cast.
FUJI O Guides:
- Fuji O Ring guides boast an aluminium oxide ring and a modernised frame – lighter still than the previous generation.
SeaGuide Guides:
- Guides manufactured by Sea Guide.
