healthy mouth. healthy you.
Brushing your teeth regularly is essential for maintaining good oral health. Brushing helps remove plaque, a layer of bacteria that coats your teeth. Reducing plaque buildup is critical for helping to prevent cavities and gum disease (gingivitis).
natural bamboo handle.
Every year over 1 billion plastic toothbrushes end up in landfills or the ocean and we wanted to do better. Davids ditched the plastic handles and switched to 100% natural bamboo for an eco upgrade. The handles are coated with vegan wax for a smooth and gentle mouthfeel.
bristles derived from plants.
Most toothbrush bristles are made of plastic derived from petroleum oil. Davids high performance toothbrush bristles are BPA-free and derived from plant (castor) oils.
- Place toothbrush at a 45 degree angle to the gums to allow bristles to get below the gumline.
- Gently brush along the gumline, moving the brush back and forth in short tooth-wide circular strokes.
- Brush the outer surfaces, the inner surfaces, and the chewing surfaces of the teeth.
- To clean the inside surfaces of the front teeth, tilt the brush vertically and make several up & down strokes.
- Brush for 2 minutes, brushing one quadrant at a time (upper right/upper left, lower right/lower left) for 30 seconds per quadrant.
- Brush twice a day (or as directed by your dentist or doctor)
Replace toothbrush every three months or sooner if bristles become frayed.
