Description

Description

Bluno Nano has an ATmega328 microcontroller with installedArduino bootloader. This means that it can be programmed throughthe Arduino IDEusing available libraries.

The board has aCC2540 chip by Texas Instruments which allows for communication in the Bluetooth 4.0standard. Thanks to this functionality, the user can remotely program the Bluno (BLE)module, use AT commands and to update the software in a simple way.

The module has an ATmega328 microcontroller andis equipped with 14 digital I/o 6 of which can be used as PWM outputs (e.g. for motor control), and 6 as analog inputs. The system works with the clock signal with the frequency of 16 MHz. The module has also a USB connector, DC power socket, RESET button.

In order to start Bluno, it is necessary to connect the system with computer usingmicroUSB cableand choose inthe Arduino IDE, the Arduino Uno board.

Programming

Creating and installing the software is allowed by the free environment of the Arduino IDE. Implemented bootloader allows you to send the program directly via USB cable. A detailed description can be found in thedocumentationandtutorial. Bluno also has the capability of remote programming via Bluetooth (BLE).
