The system consists of a plastic PU heel that extends in high up to anchor under the union arch between the inside and outside of the boot. As the limb flexes forwards, the heel becomes increasingly tensioned, until it blocks the movement of the ankle. The system therefore guarantees an optimum forwards/backwards oscillation of the joint, retaining its integrity in risky situations, and it does not compromise the comfort of the rider in any way. Ankle protection: - A new double ankle-protection system. On one side an outer system that protects against lateral hyperextension; on the other a rear system that protects against forward hyperflexion. A complete solution that guarantees total leg protection but without sacrificing perfect mobility and performance when riding.
