Description
PETG filament manufactured by the Prusa company. A characteristic feature of 3D models obtained from the company's filament is increased flexibility and a high level of detail finishing. Material for printing in light blue , with a diameter of 1.75 mm . The weight of the product wound on the spool is 1 kg. The recommended maximum drying temperature for Prusament PETG is 60 ° C for a minimum of 4 hours.
PETG is a strong material characterized by high temperature resistance. It is universally applicable, but it is especially suitable for models of mechanical parts, intended for use both inside and outside buildings. The filament has a low temperature expansion , which reduces problems with curling up layers. Thus, even large models can be created without the need for a closed working chamber. The glycol content ensures greater ease of printing, while maintaining high flexibility and increased resistance to cracking under mechanical pressure.
Prusa filaments are manufactured to the highest standards. The entire process of creating printing material is strictly controlled . The products are subjected to numerous tests aimed at ensuring the highest quality of the product. Standard tolerance for the dimension of the filament diameter of other manufacturers is usually ± 0.05 mm. In the case of Prussia, this value is only ± 0.02 mm . High color uniformity is also of great importance.
Features of the Prusa PETG filament- High temperature resistance
- Ease of printing
- Low shrinkage
- Increased durability and strength
- Simple to process
- It is not intended for printing small details
- It has poor "bridging" characteristics. bridging
- It tends to thread (this phenomenon is eliminated by the default settings in the Prusa Slicer or with hot air, e.g. from a dryer)
