Culinary Coconut Sugar Crystals
Also known as coconut palm sugar, coconut sugar can be used as an equal replacement for other sweeteners such as agave, turbinado, evaporated cane juice or refined white sugar.
Coconut Sugar
Foods Alive's coconut sugar is a sustainable, healthy, low glycemic alternative to common sweeteners.
Made by evaporating the coconut sap, which is hand-harvested by traditional sugar farmers who climb high into the canopy of coconut palms to gently slice the blossoms from their stems and collect the sweet nectar.
The collected nectar is kettle-boiled into a thick caramel syrup, which is dehydrated, and ground into crystals. Since it is less processed, it retains a natural caramel color and taste.
Used for thousands of years throughout South East Asia, palm sweeteners have a long, celebrated tradition in foods and medicines.
Chocolate Nut Fudge
You need: 1 cup carob powder, 1 cup nut butter (almond/cashew) 1/2 cup coconut sugar, 1/2 cup maple syrup.

Optional: Add water to make this into a fudge sauce.
Packaged in a facility that uses nuts.
