CO2 carbon dioxide sensor from DFRobot equipped with the SCD41 system from Sensirion . It is based on the photoacoustic NDIR detection principle and Sensirion's patented PAsens and CMOSens technologies. Signal compensation is implemented using the built-in temperature and humidity sensor, temperature and humidity data outputs are also available.

CO2, or carbon dioxide, is a key factor affecting indoor air quality. Its high level threatens the cognitive abilities and well-being of a person. It should be monitored on an ongoing basis, and any deviations from the norm should be immediately signaled.
