Hydralyte is based on the World Health Organization's recommended formula for an Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS).
Due to the right balance of glucose and electrolytes, an ORS allows the body to absorb fluid rapidly.
* When mildly to moderately dehydrated
- Pour contents of one packet into 16 oz of cold water.
- Product fizzes as it dissolves to ensure consistency of dose, so leave room in your water bottle.
- Discard unused solution after 6 hours or 24 hours if refrigerated.
Suitable for all ages. Children can drink up to 4 servings per day. Adults can drink up to 8 servings per day depending on the severity of dehydration symptoms, including increased thirst, dizziness, fatigue, headache, irritability, morning fog, stick/dry mouth, and dark or decreased urine.
Dextrose (anhydrous), citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, salt, natural flavors, disodium phosphate, silica, natural colors (beet color, beta carotene) and rebaudioside A (purified from stevia rebaudiana leaves).
Consult your doctor promptly if vomiting or diarrhea continues for more than: 12 hours in children under 3 years or 24 hours in children 3 years to adults. If you have kidney disease, or are taking heart or blood pressure medicine, discuss with your doctor before taking this product. Use under medical supervision.
