Johnson Pump impellers are long lasting but knowing the operating conditions could be harsh for this vital safety component we recommend replacement yearly or between 500hrs to 1000hrs depending on type, whichever comes first. Lubricate with Johnson Pump impeller lubricant, optimize the priming ability and avoid dry running at first start or after seasonal storage.
Ageing & Storage Conditions:
- Rubber is an ageing material, and the ageing process is depending on temperature, light and airflow. Idealy rubber should be stored cool and dark in a sealed plastic bag.
