This is the evil, mud loving, big brother of the standard Kommando. With a spaced-out, taller knob profile, the Kommando X remains true to the original; born and bred to fear no conditions. It makes no compromises in the quest for the perfect balance between grip, weight and speed. Technology: DUAL TREAD COMPOUND (DTC): - The original dual tread rubber compound for Kenda. A hard long lasting and fast rolling rubber (60sA) comprises the center of the tread area, while a softer-tackier should rubber (50sA) completes this binary compound for the versatility of speed and grip off road. Found typically on cross country, all-mountain and cyclocross tires. HARD PACK DRY TERRAIN (HPDT): - Best for Hard Pack and Dry Terrain. IRON CLOAK BELT (ICB): - A breaker of one of Kenda?s best puncture resistant materials, Iron Cloak, is built in directly underneath the tread rubber only, for protection and minimal weight. Iron Cloak Belt lets you rest assured that your tires are durable, but light and super supple for the ultimate in riding performance. KENDA SCT (KSCT): - KENDA SCT is the modification of existing Kenda tire technologies making them now compatible with fluid based tubeless conversion systems.
