The black surface was obtained thanks to a unique firing process cast iron in vegetable oil at very high temperature. The surface has been additionally oxidized, which reduces susceptibility to rust. It is recommended to periodically maintain the pot by lubricating the entire surface with a thin layer of cooking oil. Lack of this type of maintenance may result in the pan rusting.

The pan is suitable for all types of cookers, including induction.
