Zinc is a trace mineral. And there’s more than one type of zinc preparation. The zinc acetate in this formula releases 100 percent of its zinc as ionic zinc (positively charged zinc ions). This is the preferred kind of zinc, because it provides enhanced seasonal immune support, encouraging a strong and healthy immune response.

How do I choose the right zinc supplement?

Our Enhanced Zinc Lozenges are peppermint-flavored and packed with zinc acetate. They have no other ingredients that could discourage the delivery of these immune-supportive, positively charged zinc ions, making this a convenient immune-support supplement.

How much zinc acetate is right for me?

One vegetarian lozenge of Enhanced Zinc Lozenges provides 18.75 mg of zinc acetate. Please note that these special lozenges are not meant for daily use: Only a few are required for seasonal immune response support. So keep a bottle close by for immediate access!

Completely dissolve in mouth one (1) lozenge every 2 wakeful hours, not to exceed 8 lozenges per day (total: 150 mg zinc), or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.

Supplemental zinc can inhibit the absorption and availability of copper. If more than 50 mg of supplemental zinc is to be taken daily for more than four weeks, 2 mg of supplemental copper should also be taken to reduce the risk of copper deficiency.
