Description

The SHOTOH knife from the MIYABI 5000MCD series is a feast for the eyes of all lovers of Japanese art. Perfect for cutting, cleaning and peeling vegetables and fruits. The knife blade is characterized not only by a beautiful, unique layered pattern, but also by the steel from which its core is made - the incredibly hard MicroCarbide MC63 steel. This core is embedded in as many as 100 layers of two types of steel of different hardness. In addition, the CRYODUR blade is hardened by freeze-hardening at -196°C. This resulted in an above-average hardness of approximately 63 on the Rockwell scale, which ensures the best cutting properties and unprecedented flexibility. It is also worth adding that the SHOTOH knife blade was hand-grinded using the Honbazuke method - the best natural grinding stones were used and then polished on leather belts. The handle of this excellent knife is made of Masur birch wood, the texture of which makes each member of the series fit securely in the hand and be unique. The noble appearance is complemented by a head with a logo placed at the end, lined with red fiber, and filigree, mosaic pins. In addition, the handle is shaped like the letter D, which guarantees perfect balance and allows for perfect control during work. Thanks to this, even the most time-consuming dishes will be prepared without an ounce of effort. Thanks to SHOTOH knives, you will combine incredibly eye-catching aesthetics with the pleasure of cutting and preparing food.
