Description

Expansion board for module Micro:bit. It allows you to control2 DC motorsand3 servos through theI2Cinterface with12-bit resolutionfor each channel. It is based onthe driverTB6612FNGand has built-in voltage regulator of 5 V which can give a current with a maximum voltage of3 A. The source of power supply for motors and servos is the VIN screw connector and the voltage should be from 6 V to 12 V. It works with most of the available, in our offer, servosandmotors. The manufacturer provides very detailed instructions and examples of source codes.

Description of pins

For proper operation, it is sufficient to connectthe moduleMicro:bit to the corresponding slot. The pins are 6ARK connectors and 3JST slots to power the DC motors, and 9 goldpin connectors to control 3 servos.The module can also work as asimple motor driver thanks to additional pins for goldpin connectors, next to the micro:bit connector. It also hasa built-in switch.
