Description

Module with a digital barometer to measure the height in metres and pressure in the range of 50 to 110 kPa. The system has a built-in 24-bit analog-to-digital converter, which converts the analog signal into digital form. Data is sent to the microcontroller via the I2C bus (TWI) with frequency of up to 400 MHz. The device also has a built-in thermometer with a resolution of 12 bits, which is designed to measure temperature in the range from -40 to 85 °C.

The sensor operates with voltages from the range of 1.95 V to 3.6 V. It can be used directly by the microcontrollers operating at these voltages, for example,STM32Discovery,Arduino Pro Mini 3.3 Vorminicomputer Raspberry Pi. To connect with 5 V system, for example, the Arduino Uno, the signals need to be connected via voltage converter.

Pins are holes for soldering the goldpin connectors of 2.54 mm pitch (sold separately). Straps enable the connection of the module using thewiresor the direct attachment to the breadboard.

The product is compatible with Arduino

The manufacturer provides a sample program for Arduino with connection diagram. The project is available onGitHub.

Connection

The supply voltage must be connected to pins marked with the symbols VCC and GND (ground of the system). Communication is through I2C interface: the data line SDA and clock line SCL. Pins INT1 and INT2 are the programmable interrupts, which are described in the documentation of the sensor.
