Polyethylene line (loose braided) is a rope that floats on water (float line) and can withstand chafing. The rope is UV-treated and can handle many years outdoors. This polyethylene line is easy to splice and often used in cold environments such as for use in dog team sledding and as barrier rope on ski slopes.
