on the liv ladies jacket, our design team got full creative license. the result? a high-performing garment with unique style – from the double-layer lapels to the turn-up collar and super soft leather, liv is simply one of the most stylish jackets in the rev’it! collection. soft outside, sublayer inside: the outer shell construction is entirely high-quality sheepskin leather – renowned for its soft, supple, and lightweight properties. on the inside, a ce-rated sublayer stretches the seasons, while achieving tougher classification for abrasion and impact resistance – aa ratings usually reserved for touring apparel. liv for the ride: zipped cuffs and pockets add style and substance in equal measure. the ce-rated protection is inconspicuous: seesmart ce-level 1 impact protectors at the shoulders and elbows, plus the option to add a seesoft back protector. in fact, the reflective vertical stripe on the back yoke is the only giveaway that this jacket is motorcycle specific. seesoft™ ce-level 2 protection: the seesoft™ ce-level 2 protection is designed to absorb variable impacts without compromising comfort, ventilation, or freedom of movement. the highly impact-resistant blend of nitrille and polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and ce certified to the highest level (en1621-2:2014 - level 2). in the case of severe angular impact, the individual memory foam layers will shift relative to one another, resulting in impact dispersion over a larger effective surface area, and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back. by applying a multiple-layer concept, rev’it! has developed a flexible protector insert that performs consistently in all conditions. seesmart™ ce-level 1 protection: seesmart™ protectors offer the highest level of flexibility while still passing the en1621-1:2012 ce-level 1 impact tests in both normal and hot (t+) conditions. lightweight, highly ventilated, and extremely agile, seesmart™ protectors are virtually unnoticeable when riding despite being up to the task of protecting you in the event of an unfortunate mishap. thanks to their flexible construction, these protectors sit close to your body and follow your anatomy. it allows for a better-fitting and more comfortable silhouette for motorcycle gear; making sure you can look effortlessly stylish while remaining protected on the road. jeans loop: not only does it help prevent the jacket from riding up when on a motorcycle, but it also helps prevent unnecessary exposure of skin while on the open road. short connection zipper: its intention is to create a secure connection between the trousers/jeans and your jacket/overshirt to minimize and/or eliminate the jacket exposing your skin while in the riding position. comfort features: pockets: - inner pocket - two slit pockets on front lining: - polycotton twill - polyester stretch - comfort-boosting liner with stretch built in. features: - cuff zipper - the zipper at the cuff has several purposes. it allows for easier entry into the sleeve, provides extra ventilation on warm days, and allows you to easily wear the glove cuff under your outer shell and over your base layer. jeans loop: - the loop at the back of this jacket enables you to attach it to your jeans, which prevents the jacket from creeping up: no more exposed back when riding your motorbike. - short connection zipper - v-flap at cuff climate regulation: insulation: - wind catcher behind cuff zipper - wind catcher behind front zipper - behind the front a panel has been installed to block the wind. protection in this product: protection: - prepared for seesoft™ ce-level 2 insert back protector - the back protector pocket in this rev´it! garment is tailor-made to accommodate the seesoft™ ce-level 2 back protector insert type rv - an easy upgrade to maximize safety. safety seams: - the stitching in motorcycle garments contributes greatly to the abrasion resistance of the total gear. this is why rev´it! uses safety seams on garment areas at increased risk of impact. safety seams have a visible as well as an invisible seam. this construction keeps the material of the outer shell together, even when the visible seam is thorn. - seesmart ce-level 1 shoulder protectors - seesmart ce-level 1 elbow protectors outer shell material: - sheepskin leather visibility: - reflective label at back: retroreflective, fluorescent label at the back to aid visibility and improve safety in low-light situation.
