Men's high-top boots with GORE-TEX® weather protection and a Vibram® outsole for reliable support while hiking in the mountains in a wide range of terrain and conditions.
Reliable protection
Alp Trainer 2 is a modern hiking shoe with a high, durable upper made of the best quality suede and elastic material and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining, which provides reliable protection during hikes in various terrains and in various conditions. Features a generous front rubber tread for added protection from rocks and scree.
Adjustable comfort
Designed for comfort right out of the box, it allows for a precise, supportive and foot-hugging fit. Our proprietary 3F steel cable system provides strong ankle support and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar increases posterior ankle range of motion and comfort during descent. In addition, the customizable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole has interchangeable layers that allow you to further adapt the shoe structure to your feet. Climbing lacing is adjustable up to the toe for improved performance on technical sections.
Increased grip and traction
Underfoot, an improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, which is exclusive to SALEWA®, provides improved performance and control over a wide range of mountain terrain, and excels in wet and muddy conditions thanks to dedicated climbing zones, adequate traction and grip.
