Description

Perfect for side sleepers, the extra height of this mat lets hips sink deeper into it without touching the ground. Larger air pockets are created by using many looped TPU baffles which connect the top and bottom fabric layers with our Air Sprung Cell™ dot weld pattern. The looped baffles allow the top and bottom layers to be positioned further apart creating larger pockets of air when inflated that require less fabric overall. Features: - Includes an Airstream™ Pump that is integrated into the stuff sack for quick and easy inflation - Extra thick (XT) loop baffle Air Sprung Cells™ - Lightweight, quiet and grippy 30/40D Nylon fabric, field repairable with included self-adhesive patches - Ultra-Fresh® anti-microbial treatment is added to the TPU formula to prevent internal mould growth - Air Sprung Cells™ for a more comfortable sleep - Multi-functional, high flow-rate valve - PillowLock™ attaches your Aeros™ pillow to your mat, holding it in place for a slip-free sleep Specifications: - Mat: 100% nylon; Valve 100% TPU; Insulation: 100% polyester; Stuff Sack: 100% nylon Weight: Rectangular Regular Wide 630g; Rectangular Large 690g; Regular 490g; Small 470g; Large 625g R-value 3.2 ASTM F3340-18 R-values An R-value (Resistance-value) is a metric used to rate how effectively your sleeping mat resists heat loss. It’s the only way to know how well your mat will prevent your body heat being leeched away by ground temperatures (which can be a lot colder than air temperatures). This value can be tested in-house but at Sea to Summit our mats are independently tested at a laboratory to precisely controlled standards. The new industry standard ASTM F3340-18 testing has now been introduced and all Sea to Summit mats released from 2020 onwards are tested to this standard.
