Description

Description

A joystick similar to analog devices used, for example, in game controllers. The detection of the direction of movement is done via two potentiometers - one (10 kΩ) for each axis. The device also has a button activated by pressing the handle.

Attention!

This product is only available in our market in Poland and cannot be sold to other countries.

Connection

The module is equipped with Grove interface that facilitates its connection to the Arduino along with Base Shield v2.0 or Raspberry using Hat and GrovePi+.

Information about the position of the handle is transmitted via an analog signal, in which voltage corresponds to the given position. Each axis has a separate analog pin. In comparison to a normal joystick, its output values are restricted to a smaller range (200 - 800), at a time when the joystick is pressed, the value of the X-axis will increase to 1023.

The user manual

Manufacturer has prepared a user's guide for Arduino and Raspberry with a sample programme.
