First start-up
- Do not start it up immediately after the equipment is delivered.
- The equipment should remain at room temperature for approximately 12 hours before start-up.
- Any reports of faults caused by premature start-up will be rejected.
- Completely remove the screw(s) from the bottom of the station if the source of airflow is a compressor. These screws are marked in red (1 or 3 screws depending on model).

One of the conditions for proper operation of electronic devices according to the design is the correct assembly of their components. Most often, in the construction of devices, we can find elements such as threaded assembly (THT) and surface assembly (SMD). For surface mounting, especially integrated circuits with a more dense grid of outputs than 2.54 mm (as is the case with most integrated circuits in DIP and SIP enclosures), the WEP 858D hot air soldering station is perfect. Digital temperature display and stepless adjustment of the air stream allow for proper selection of the station's power during installation and service of the electronics.
Hot air - not only solderingThe WEP 858D soldering station is equipped with a soldering flask with built-in heater and fan. The flask is very light, which translates into comfort of work. Thanks to the wide temperature range and three different nozzles included in the set, the 858D station can be used not only for soldering, but also for shrinking heat-shrink tubes, joining hot plastic elements and removing old paint from metal surfaces. The hallotron sensor built into the flask automatically switches the station into standby mode when the flask is placed on a tripod. Similarly, after lifting the flask from the tripod, the control system starts the fan in the flask and heats the heater to the previously set temperature.
