Description
Smart product of the third generation with the possibility of adjusting the speed limit of your electric bike.Tuning SpeedBox 3.0 allows arbitrary configuration of electric speed limiters.
After installing the tuning you will be able to consult the real values such as the maximum speed, the average speed, the daily mileage and the autonomy.
How does SpeedBox 3.0 work?You can activate the SpeedBox 3.0 on the e-bike screen.
After a brief activation of the WALK function, the display will briefly show 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph) and from then on you can ride at unlimited speed.
To deactivate the tuning function, reactivate the WALK function.
The display shows 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) and the 25 km/h speed limit will turn on again.
The electric bike works as before the tuning was installed.
We are also prepared for electric bikes that do not have a classic control panel with the WALK function.
In this case, simply use the + - + - button combination and SpeedBox will be activated.
In the same way it can be deactivated.
To set the maximum speed, you can switch between the following modes:Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo.
Then the current speed limit will be displayed.
To change the maximum speed, short press the WALK function or rotate the wheel 360 °.
Display 1.5 km/h on display corresponds to the 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to the 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc.
The last displayed limit is saved after five seconds of inactivity.
When using the SpeedBox 3.0 with Bosch motors of the 4th generation (year 2020 and above), the e-bike must be turned on after the end of the ride until the display shows a constant 0.0 km/h.
During this phase, the display will show the remaining time (in minutes).
The bike can then be safely switched off and looking forward to the next ride.
To connect the SpeedBox to an electric bike we use colored connectors equipped with a key for proper connection, so the product is really easy to install.

Removing the product is as easy as mounting it.
