Description

Product description: ST25DV16K - RFID tag with 16kb I2C EEPROM memory STEMMA QT/Qwiic - Adafruit 4701.

RFIDtag with16 kb EEPROMmemory from Adafruit withSTEMMA QT / Qwiicconnector. It works with mobile phones and thanks to the I2C interfaceit canbe reprogrammed to your own needs. The chip conforms toISO / IEC 15693(13.56 MHz) standards and is read by telephones and tablets. When connected to the controller, dynamic data recording begins.

Product compatible with Metro modules

The manufacturer has prepared auser guide anda library with asample program forMetro module users.

Unlikestandard RFID tags, the presentedproduct supports ISO15693 and reads ST25DV. Thanks to that it is possible to read information using AppleandAndroidphones. According to technical documentation, the module can be used as acommunication system "I2C - RFID". Thanks to it, you can wirelessly send and receive data from your mobile phone. For this purpose, you need to write your own application (using the producttechnical documentation).

RFID tag with EEPROM memory.

Connections of the module using STEMMA QT / QWIIC connectors

The module has a built-inSTEMMA QT / QWIICconnector to connect the board. The black colour indicates the GND ground of the circuit, red indicates the VIN power supply (5 V), and blue and yellow indicate the I2C connections respectively: SDA - data line, SCL - clock line.

Pin Description GND The weight of the system. VIN 5 V power supply. SDA I2C bus data line. SCL I2C bus clock line.

For more information on how to connect and output the module, seethe user guide.
