The line of knivesSENZO Universalwas created in response to the needs of the company SUNCRAFT were reported by professional chefs, especially European ones. They are used to certain features of the knives they have used so far. Chefs of many restaurants on the Old Continent contributed to the creation of a special series of productsSENZO – equipped with full-shank blades ( full tang) embedded in the handle with rivets. This design of the knife makes it very well balanced and fits securely in the hand, and above all, it is extremely durable. SuncraftSENZO UNIVERSALuses the best patterns from the Western world, and additionally, thanks to the use of 33-layer steel, the so-called Damascus*, whose core is steelVG-10**, knives from this series are exceptionally durable and their blades are abrasion-resistant. The "wavering" effect visible in the close-up of the blade is associated with samurai swords. The hammered pattern not only looks attractive but also prevents the cut products from sticking to the blade. As with otherSUNCRAFT SENZO knives, the handle of theUNIVERSALline made of wood that is extremely resistant to the conditions in the kitchenPakkawood*** in brown.

*Damascus steel – contemporary so-called Damascus steel consists of successive, extremely thin sheets of stainless steel superimposed on each other, of which the middle 25% of the sheets are called the core, while the remaining 75% consists of sheets of different hardness - alternating layers of mild and hard steel. As a result, a "wavy" effect is created on the surface of the knife.

**VG-10 steel This type of steel was considered the best for the production of kitchen knives. Chefs appreciate both the beautiful design of knives made of VG-10 and their exceptional durability. VG-10 is a material with high hardness, on the HRC scale it has a value ofHRC 60. Thanks to this, knives made from it are extremely sharp and very resistant to abrasion.

***Pakkawood is laminated birch or maple wood, impregnated with resin. It is characterized by very high resistance to heat and moisture and was developed especially for knife handles.
