Product description: TMP102 - I2C temperature sensor - Qwiic - SparkFun SEN-16304

SparkFun module equipped with TMP102 temperature sensor . For communication, it uses the I2C interface available on the soldering pins or the Qwiic connector, thanks to which there is no need to solder additional connectors when connecting with other elements of the Qwiic system. The TMP102 sensor from Texas Instruments measures with a resolution of 0.0625°C and an accuracy of 0.5°C. The measuring range of the temperature sensor is -40°C to 125°C . The module works with a voltage of 3.3 V.

Module pins

The communication module uses the I2C interface through leads in the form of soldering pads to which goldpin and Qwiic connectors can be soldered. On the back of the board you can find jumpers that need to be cut with a sharp knife or shorted with tin.

GND - system ground
3V3 - supply voltage 3.3 V
SDA - data line of the I2C bus
SCL - clock line of the I2C bus
ALERT - pin pulled up to the 10 kΩ resistor warning about exceeding a given temperature, can be read via I2C
