Description

Victron´s range of BlueSolar controllers incorporate an advanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) designed for off-grid installations.

The mppt charging algorithm maximizes power production from the PV array by quickly and accurately adjusting the peak performance zone of the panels and compensating for temperature variation.

The advanced MPPT tracker of the Victron BlueSolar 150/45 controller is perfectly suited for cloudy skies, where the available solar radiation varies frequently.

The Victron BlueSolar 150/45 controller incorporates an ultra-fast maximum power point tracker that allows it to optimize PV output up to 10% compared to other slower MPPT controllers.

In low and scattered cloud cover, there can be different maximum power points of the PV module.

The Victron BlueSolar 150/45 controller´s advanced maximum power point finder studies all possibilities until it finds the one where PV production is maximized.

The use of the Mppt algorithm increases efficiency up to 30% compared to PWM algorithms.

This regulator is able to adjust the PV field voltage (up to 150V) to charge a low voltage battery (12/24/48 Volts).

The BatteryLife algorithm will substantially increase the life of your batteries.

Thus, the BlueSolar Victron MPPT 150/45 controller allows:

The use of grid-connected solar panels (60 cells) and thin film amorphous panels.

Charging batteries at 12, 24 or 48 Volts with photovoltaic systems up to 150Vdc (maximum battery charging current of 45A).

Reducing energy losses.

By increasing the voltage in the PV field, losses are reduced for the same power generated.

The panels can be installed further away from the regulator to reduce losses, also allowing the use of a thinner cable.
