Description

Victron Energy´s new 48V inverter/charger Multiplus II 48/3000/35-32 with an integrated GX device The MultiPlus-II GX communicates with solar chargers, batteries and other devices to control a grid-connected, stand-alone or remote installation.

Features:

A MultiPlus-II with LCD and GX function The MultiPlus-II GX integrates a MultiPlus-II inverter/charger and a GX device with a 2 x 16 character display.

Display and Wi-Fi the display shows parameters of the battery, inverter and solar charge controller these parameters can be accessed with a smartphone or other Wi-Fi enabled device.

GX device the integrated GX device includes:

- A VE.Can interface.

It can be used to connect to Victron VE.Can devices (e.g:

MPPT VE.Can) or the port can be reconfigured via the remote console for use with a compatible CAN-bus lithium-ion battery.

- One USB port.

- One E thernet port.

- One VE.Direct port.

Applications The MultiPlus-II GX is intended for applications where connection to other products or remote control is required, such as energy storage systems, both on and off-grid, and certain mobile applications.

Parallel and three-phase operation.

Only one GX unit is required for parallel and three-phase operation.

Standard marine, mobile or off-grid application.

Loads that should be shut down when AC input power is not available can be connected to a second output (not shown) the PowerControl and PowerAssist feature will take these loads into account to limit the AC input current to a safe value when AC power is available.

Standard mobile or off-grid application with external current sensor Maximum current sensor range:

50 A resp.

100 a Grid-parallel topology with MPPT solar charge controller The MultiPlus-II will use the data from the external AC current sensor (to be ordered separately) or energy meter to optimize self-consumption and, if necessary, avoid feeding surplus solar energy back into the grid in the event of a power outage.

The MultiPlus-II will continue to power critical loads.

On-grid topology with PV inverter.

PV power is converted directly to AC power The MultiPlus-II will use excess PV power to charge the batteries or return power to the grid, and will discharge the battery or use grid power to supplement the lack of PV power in the event of a power outage.

The MultiPlus-II will disconnect from the grid and continue to power the loads.
