Description

Description

Accurate, 12-bit PWMsignal generator. Allows you to control up to 16 servos. For communication, it uses only two lines of the I2C interface. Thanks to a choice of addresses (0x60-0x80), on one bus you can connect 62 devices which gives 992 PWM channels supported by a single microcontroller.

The module as a shield for the Arduino with a set of connectors for self-soldering. It works withArduino Uno,Leonardo,Mega2560andMega ADK.

Key features
  • Voltage of the logical parts: from 3.3 V to 5 V.
  • Supply voltage of servos: up to 6 V.
  • Built-in resonator, thanks to which the system there is no need to constantly send a signal to the microcontroller.
  • Possibility to choose I2C bus address (0x60-0x80) through the jumpers which gives the possibility to attach 62 devices.
  • The resolution of the PWM signal is 12 bits, the frequency is adjustable in the range of 40 Hz to 1000 Hz.
  • It has digital push-pull or open-drainoutputs.
  • Equipped with protection against reverse connection of the supply voltage.
  • The board has holes for soldering a large capacitor when interruptions appear due to the consumption of too much current through the servos.
  • It has resistors of 220 Ω that are connected in series in the circuits of outputs, through which you can directly drive LEDs.
  • The kit includes connectors for self-assembly:
    • 1 x screw - for attaching the supply voltage
    • 4 x goldpin strips3x4, raster of 2.54 mm to connect the servos.
    • 1 x goldpin strip for connecting the shield with the Arduino.
  • Module dimensions: 54 x 70 x 3 mm
  • Weight with connectors: 20 g
