Remember that the foot length obtained during measurement will not be identical to the insole length. Approximately 0.5 cm is usually added to the obtained result, especially if the shoes are not made of leather and will certainly not stretch.

Other rules apply when selecting sports shoes, e.g. for running or football , or trekking. Depending on their purpose, you need to add approximately 1 cm or even more to the result.
