Patented recline system.
To provide the most suitable and safest position for both newborns and children from 15 months, the BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE features Britax Römer´s patented recline system.
This mechanism allows you to adjust the angle at which the child reclines in the infant carrier according to his or her height.
It offers a more ergonomic, lie-flat position for the newborn, but then the angle and therefore the shape of the seat changes as the child grows, providing more space.
Simply adjust the headrest (in combination with the 5-point harness) according to the child´s height and the internal structure of the BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE changes.
The backrest keeps the center of gravity of the head aligned with the axis of the spine to prevent forward rotation in the event of an impact.
Newborn insert included.
The BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE includes a removable newborn insert, specially designed to provide extra support between 40 and 60 cm in height.
It is equipped with energy-absorbing elements that absorb the energy generated on impact and provide greater comfort.
5-point harness.
In the event of a collision, the force of the impact is distributed across five points:
two at the shoulders, two at the hips and one where the harness buckles between the legs.
The padded headrest and harness can be easily adjusted with one hand to suit the child´s height.
Adjustable handle and sun canopy.
The adjustable handle can be easily moved backwards to place the child in the infant carrier.
Simply press the buttons on either side of the handle to unlock and move the handle.
The infant carrier includes a UPF 50+ treated canopy to protect your child from the sun and wind, both in the car and on the pushchair.
Removable cover.
The cover can be easily removed for machine washing, without the need to remove the harness.
Installation in the car and pushchair.
The BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE is universally approved for installation with the vehicle´s three-point belt.
However, installation with a compatible Isofix base is recommended.
The BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE can be fitted on the pushchairs from Britax Römer thanks to the Click & Go adapters.
It is also compatible with pushchairs from other brands, such as Bugaboo (among others), with the specific adapters.
