Its name means ´Lizard of the Earth´.
It was a great Teropodo Carnivore of Late Cretaceous about 97-93 million years ago that lived in the area of Argentina and Chile.
It is believed that Mapusaurus has a length between 10.

Previously available only as a Deluxe model, this is the first version of Mapusaurus (hunting) that is added to the popular range of Collecta.
Mapusaurus could have hunted like a herd or family unit taking advantage of the huge Argentinosaurus with which he shared his surroundings.
