How to measure the temperature with a non-contact thermometer?

In order to perform the measurement, the device should be pointed at the test person, keeping a distance of 5 to 10 cm. After pressing the button on the handle ofthe electronic thermometer, the result will be shown on the display for 8 seconds. To obtain the most reliable results during the measurement theambienttemperatureshould be constant.
