Outsole:Improved STICKYGRIP rubber delivers outstanding traction over all terrain, including mud and rocks.

Now enhanced with extra stickiness for better grip on wet rocks.

New shape 8mm long STICKYGRIP lugs with chamfered edges have been carefully positioned in multiple directions to improve grip, shed any mud, boost propulsion off the toes and aid faster breaking at the heel.

Bigger shaped cleats in high-wear areas enhance the lifespan of the outsole.

A META-FLEX groove across the forefoot allows for greater spring when pushing off the toes and more flexibility underfoot.

A new adjoining vertical groove isolates the big toe, giving it greater freedom to further boost push-off.

A flexible META-SHANK rock plate - coupled with the fully-skinned rubber outsole - protects the underfoot from sharp rocks, while still allowing feet to move naturally and have a feel for the terrain.

Midsole:A bouncy, cushioned ride that retains high levels of responsiveness is provided by the new POWERFLOW PRO foam midsole.

This amazing underfoot comfort and propulsion is built in a way that still allows for the ground-feel you need when running over uneven, hazardous terrain.

Overall stack heights (all the shoe material between your foot and the ground) of 33mm in the heel and 27mm in the forefoot, combined with a 6mm drop, aid a super cushioned and comfortable ride for all distances, including ultras.

The midsole itself measures 18mm in the heel and 12mm in the forefoot.

Upper:An ultra-tough yet flexible ballistic material forms the upper, giving excellent durability and protection.

Thicker MET-CRADLE overlay strips connect the midfoot to the heel, so when laces are tightened it pulls in for a secure, locked-in feel.

The gusseted tongue stops any debris slipping down past the laces and into the shoe, while further comfort and protection is gained via a thicker toe guard overlay.

The upper is 3D printed, for the first time in inov-8 history.

Shape & Fit:The new shoe shape hugs the natural contours of the whole foot, with a more natural toe-box shape and greater lock-in at the heel.

This brings more comfort, more confidence and unhindered performance.

The tread width measurements across the forefoot are Precision 95mm and Wide 105mm.

Both give room for the toes, with the Precision hugging closer for extra nimbleness on uneven terrain.
