Mayku Pro Mesh - stainless steel bed

Mayku Pro Mesh is a very thin metal accessory for the Mayku vacuum gauge . The table top cover is made of 1.2 mm thick stainless steel that has thousands of tiny holes to allow more air to escape from the vacuum formed molds. Pro Mesh improves the basic functionality of the standard table in FormBox, it is made of mesh, providing smoother edges for better quality forms.

The Mayku Pro Mesh stainless steel cover is specially designed for chocolatiers so that they can get a flat surface around the molds, which allows them to scrape excess chocolate from around the filled molds. The cap was developed together with the chocolatiers to work with chocolate, but the Pro Mesh could also be useful for any other creator using Mayku FormBox for casting - jesmonite, concrete, wax and soap, as well as packaging prototyping.

1. Sharper product edges. The overlay has a series of tiny holes with a high density, which allows more air to be drawn through the mesh, creating a narrower radius around the template being created. Molds made of Pro Mesh have a higher resolution around the edges, resulting in a cleaner, sharper edge to the molded product.
2. Easier scratching off excess form. The finer holes make the surface of the molded shape very smooth and flat. This allows for cleaner scraping of excess casting material, and the smooth edge allows the formed elements to be joined.
