Description
The Favorite by Penhaligon´s is a floral-woody Eau de Parfum for women with musky undertones. This Eau de Parfum pays tribute to the glamorous, alluring and vivacious woman the fragrance is inspired by - Sarah Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough. The fragrance opens with juicy mandarin and an airy combination of violet and freesia. The scent is colored golden by radiant mimosa, the unique honey-warming scent is brought by Sambac jasmine and iris, creating a hazy, powdery impression. The bright and ethereal character of the base lies in the combination of sandalwood, ambroxan and musk. Penhaligon´s London is a British perfume house founded in 1870 by William Penhaligon. Originally a barber shop, Penhaligon´s launched its first fragrance in 1872, Hammam Bouquet. The fragrances were issued regularly from the original shop in Jermyn Street until it was demolished in 1941. The shop disappeared but the company´s fragrances endured and in 1956 Penhaligon´s was awarded a Royal Warrant by the Duke of Edinburgh. The fragrance was created by Alienor Massenet in 2020.
