VEML7700 light sensor module from Adafruit, allowing measurement of light intensity in the range from 0 lux to 120 klux . It offers up to 16-bit resolution , which translates into measurements with an accuracy of up to 0.0036 lx/ct. It allows you to change the gain, so you can make more precise measurements in a dark environment. It also has the option of removing noise from 100 Hz and 120 Hz tubes. Communication with the microcontroller takes place via the I2C interface, including the built-in STEMMA QT connector. The board also includes a voltage regulator and a logic level converter , allowing work with devices powered with voltages from 3.3 V to 5 V. The green LED informs us about the power supply status.

The manufacturer has prepared a detailed user guide and libraries for Arduino and Raspberry Pi that will make working with the sensor easier.
To facilitate the use of the sensor, the manufacturer made it possible to easily connect the module to the microcontroller via the STEMMA QT / Qwiic connector. It uses the popular I2C interface and uses supply voltages of 3.3 V and 5 V. Alternatively, it is possible to solder the goldpin connectors included in the set to the appropriate pins. The module outputs include:

- 3Vo - voltage output from the built-in regulator, efficiency 100 mA
